New Pathways to DiscoveryTHE SOLICITATION OF ASSAYS FOR HIGH THROUGHPUT SCREENING (HTS) IN THE MOLECULAR LIBRARIES SCREENING CENTERS NETWORK (MLSCN) (R03) The purpose of this Program Announcement (PAR) is to invite investigators to seek access for their HTS assays to the Molecular Libraries Screening Centers Network (MLSCN). The MLSCN intends to screen 100-200 HTS assays per year to fully utilize the capacity of screening centers. Approximately $3.7 million will be available in 2007. The mechanism to be used for application, review, and selection will be the Small Research Grant R03 award in a form that provides limited funding for 1 year. SOLICITATION OF ASSAYS FOR HIGH THROUGHPUT SCREENING (HTS) IN THE MOLECULAR LIBRARIES SCREENING CENTERS NETWORK (X01) The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to invite investigators to seek access for their HTS assays to the Molecular Libraries Screening Centers Network (MLSCN), which intends to screen 100-200 HTS assays per year to fully utilize the capacity of the screening centers network. The mechanism to be used for application, review, and selection will be the Resource Access award X01. There are no funds associated with a Resource Access award. Through its funding of the MLSCN, NIH will support the costs of assay automation, screening and optimization chemistry. |
